Coulomb Technologies Sales Channel Closes Two Distribution Agreements for Plug-in Charging

NovaCharge, an exclusive Southwest authorized channel for the ChargePoint plug-in charging Network from Coulomb Technologies, announced two sales distribution agreements: the first with North Carolina- and Virginia-based Advanced Vehicle Research Center (AVRC), the second with North Carolina-based Praxis Technologies.

AVRC is provider of environmentally friendly transportation infrastructure to public utilities, governmental agencies, educational institutions and corporations. NovaCharge and AVRC will work together to enable sales and installation of the ChargePoint Network to electric utilities, and educational and government agencies.

AVRC says that it has now completed more plug-in hybrid conversions than any other organization on the East Coast. They have also completed two ethanol optimization projects and they are now working with NC State University on electric vehicle and hybrid vehicle projects.

Through this partnership with NovaCharge, along with our ability to provide plug-In hybrid conversions for the Toyota Prius, Ford Escape and soon a wide range of other vehicles, the AVRC is now a single point of contact for vehicle conversions and infrastructure to support the electrification of fleet vehicles for city governments and others.

—AVRC Executive Director Dick Dell
