Focus the Nation‘s nationwide town hall on the clean energy future launches Monday with events in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Little Rock Arkansas – engaging key swing members of Congress Senator Arlen Specter and Congressman Vic Snyder, respectively. Both members are confirmed to attend events in person.

Carrying the momentum of two power shifts and tremendous work in 2008 from thousands of rising leaders, and in coalition with 1Sky, EAC, Green For All and others, Focus the Nation hopes these town halls will deepen and broaden America’s conversation on building the clean energy future. They come at a critical moment, just after the initial release of the Waxman-Markey climate bill, a first step towards passing transformational carbon legislation this year.
